The AGILE project general objective is to support a prosperous twin green & digital transition in the Multi regions with specific reference to Kenya, Western Balkan Countries contexts by comprehensive and effective development and uptake of green and digital skills needed for a modern workforce that can contribute to economic growth.
This will be done by designing, developing and piloting an innovative competency-oriented learning ecosystem that will help future generations acquire the skills they need to meet the challenges and opportunities of the twin green & digital transition and elevate their positive impact on society.
The AGILE project aims to support a prosperous twin green & digital transition in the Sub – Saharan Africa and Western Balkans regions with specific reference to Kenya, Western Balkan Countries contexts by comprehensive and effective development and uptake of green and digital skills needed for a modern workforce that can contribute to economic growth.
This will be done by designing, developing and piloting an innovative competency-oriented learning ecosystem that will help future generations acquire the skills they need to meet the challenges and opportunities of the twin green & digital transition and elevate their positive impact on society.
The competency-oriented learning ecosystem will consist of the following:
- The competency-oriented curriculum model built around the talent triangle (Green skills of the future, Digital skills of the future, and Business acumen) will be used to modernize and introduce innovative elements into the existing curricula at 7 HEIs from Albania, Kosovo and Kenya. The curriculum model will be innovative in terms of content (key competencies and transversal skills), structure (modular) and teaching/learning methods.
- The eLearning ecosystem, including e-learning courses aligned with the competency-oriented curriculum model that integrates innovative instructional design approaches and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). All the resources and teaching aids will be available to the public free of charge through open licenses (Open Educational Resources – OER)
